KRISTEN L. RUBEN - BIO
Picture of Kristen L. RubenKristen L. Ruben concentrates her practice in real estate, general corporate law, estate planning, and income tax preparation. Kris attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a B.S. in 1988. In 1991, she earned her J.D. with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law and was an editor of the Law Review. After graduation, Kristen was a law clerk for the Honorable Rudy Lozano, District Judge for Northern District of Indiana. She is the immediate Past President of the West Northfield School District 31 Board of Education, served on the board for eight years, and was the President of the West Northfield School District 31 Education Foundation. She is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Greater North Shore Estate and Financial Planning Council, the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and the Chicago Bar Association.

 

 

 

MYRNA B. GOLDBERG - BIO

Myrna earned her B.A. with highest distinction from the University of Michigan in 1984 and earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987. At the University of Michigan Law School she was a member and editor of the University Of Michigan Journal Of Law Reform. Prior to opening Ruben & Goldberg, LLC, Myrna practiced with the firm of Rudnick & Wolfe, currently known as DLA Piper. She is currently a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Greater North Shore Estate and Financial Planning Council, the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, and the Chicago Bar Association.

ALLEN D. KATZ - BIO
Picture of Allen D. KatzAllen D. Katz is a Paralegal with 40 years experience in the areas of General Corporate, Real Estate, Taxation, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration Law. Allen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, IL in 1984. He received his Paralegal Degree from William Rainey Harper College, Palatine, IL in 1974. Prior to joining Ruben & Goldberg, LLC, Allen was associated with the firms of Harris, Burman, Sinars & Jiganti, Chicago, IL (1970-1987); Kwiatt & Ruben, Ltd., Northfield, IL (1987-2002) and Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, Northfield, IL (2002-2004). Allen has been a member of the Arlington Heights Frontier Day Festival Committee since 1990 and has coached baseball for several seasons with the Buddy Baseball League of the Buffalo Grove Recreation Association and is currently the League Director.  Allen also volunteers in various areas for the local Special Olympics Organization in Rolling Meadows and the Illinois Special Olympics.
